Fall Food Drive Benefiting The Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank Bank
Hello Sunny Hills Community!

Please join the Sunny Hills PTA, teachers, and student council in supporting the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank by donating a food item or two, October 28th - November 10th! Let’s stock their pantry right before the holidays!

The highest need items have been split into grade groups, but please feel free to donate any items from the list. Containers will be placed in the front foyer of the school on the upper and lower levels.

Thank you for your support of our Fall Food Drive!

Community Please Take Action Now
➡️PTA members, students and educators, act now and send a message to your federal representatives and our Senators Murray and Cantwell, using National PTA’s action alert: https://www.pta.org/home/advocacy/take-action?vvsrc=%2fCampaigns%2f130746%2fRespond

Let them know that limiting the Department of Education’s capacity to serve all students regardless of race, zip code, gender, ability, or status only harms our students and keeps them from making their potential a reality.

With the announcement of major staff layoffs at the Department of Education, it is more critical than ever to let your members of Congress know that this is hurting our 1.1 million children and youth in Washington State.

The critical staff being eliminated are from the Office of Special Education and the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education, overseeing programs and disbursement of funds impacting some of our most vulnerable students in special education and Title I programs.

Math Challenge is here!
