Fall Fundraiser Kicks off Friday, September 21st
Get ready for Sunny Hills PTA's biggest fundraiser of the year!  We are partnering again with Orange Ruler for our Fall Fundraiser, kicking off on Friday, September 21 st , to raise money to support art programs, "science to go," Eager Reader, and many more events /activities at Sunny Hills. It will last for approximately two weeks, ending with an all-school fun run on October 5 th . With an all-in goal of 100% enrollment, we are currently at 40%. Family Memberships are $25 and they provide access to the Sunny Hills’ Online Directory, Community Discounts, and the opportunity to have a say in your child’s education.  Please contact Kendra Villasana with questions.

Grant Applications

Sunny Hills PTA Enrichment Grants are due back from teachers, staff, parents or students by Thursday, September 27th.  The Enrichment Grant committee will then review applications and present recommendations to the PTA Board.  Grant recipients will be announced after October 5, 2018.


Calling all artists!

The Reflections art competition is a National PTA program which recognizes students for their artistic creativity. This year’s theme is Heroes Around Me.

Students of all grades and abilities can compete by entering an original work in the categories: visual arts (painting, drawing, etc.), photography, literature, music composition, dance choreography, and film production.

Deadline for submission is: Friday, October 19th. Click here for more information.

Vision and Hearing Screening Volunteers needed
The Issaquah School District nurses perform vision and hearing testing as well as head lice checks for all Sunny Hills students on a yearly basis.This year's screenings are scheduled for Thursday, 11 October.  Volunteers are needed to assist with class management and will be trained immediately prior to their shift. Morning and afternoon shifts are available. As the process is very focused and busy, volunteers are asked not to being preschoolers along.
