The 2012 Science Fair was a BIG success due to the wonderful student entries, dedicated parent and staff support, and amazing volunteers. The fair encouraged students to be creative and explore the wonders of science. The student projects were fantastic and it was fun to see our young scientists in action.

We would like to express our appreciation to Dr. Eric Shipley and family for providing the neat display featuring cow eyeballs and other real organs to touch and feel. Students (and adults too) enjoyed the fun "hands-on" educational experience! Thank you also to Kate Poaster for volunteering her time to set up and guide students in some fun science exhibits.

A HUGE thank you goes out to Michele Jensen and Susie Roberts for organizing the 2012 Science Fair. This is Michele’s last year at Sunny Hills and she has chaired the Science Fair for several years. We are grateful to her for all she has done for the science fair and docent programs at Sunny Hills.
