Top 5 Priority Issues Determined- Sunny Hills PTA members and delegates attended the Washington State PTA's Legislative Assembly on Oct. 24-25 in Vancouver, Washington. After discussing 15 different proposals for consideration, delegates voted for the top 5 priorities. As a result of the vote, the WSPTA's Top 5 Priorities for the 2015 and 2016 Legislative session are:
1. Funding McCleary 2. Create positive school climates through social emotional learning 3. Increase capital funding 4. Increased access to higher education 5. Breakfast after the bell
