There are MANY WAYS to support "Behind the Scenes" passive funding of critical PTA programs at Sunny Hills Elementary without any hassle. Passive fundraisers are those in which we've partnered with another organization, and typically these fundraisers involve very little ongoing effort from us. At the same time, we collect a portion of the funds spent, the remainder going to the partner organization.

Cartridge World- Ink & Toner Cartridge Recycling
Be sure and bring in your used ink and toner cartridges for our Cartridge World recycle bin to help Sunny Hills earn money for the PTA. You will be encouraging the importance of recycling to your kids and helping keep Washington green. We accept all brands. Ask relatives for their empties and collect them at work as well. The more you turn in the more money Sunny Hills makes. Be sure and come into the Cartridge World Issaquah store for your renewal needs as well. You can turn in empties there also and you will receive $2 off your order if you mention Sunny Hills.
Jamba Juice "Sip to Support Schools"
Every time a "Sip to Support Schools" swipe card is presented at time of Jamba purchase, 10% of proceeds will be donated to Sunny Hills PTA and 2% to the National PTA. Pick up your free swipe cards at the Meet the Teacher Ice Cream Social or in the front office. THE MORE YOU'RE SIPPING, THE MORE $ WE'RE GETTING!
Clip, Earn and Redeem points for Labels for Education help purchase great merchandise for Sunny Hills!
Don't have the time to clip UPCs? Do you shop at Fred Meyer, QFC or Safeway? You can register your rewards cards at Labels for Education. Now, every time you shop at any of these stores and purchase any eligible Labels for Education products, total points earned will be credited to Sunny Hill's Labels for Education account automatically. Matching Funds
Does your employer participate in a matching gift program? If so, please help the PTA benefit! The Sunny Hills Matching Funds chair, Barb Howe, will take care of processing the matching funds forms if you can provide us with your employer information. Office Depot 5% Back To Schools
While checking out online or at any Office Depot location, simply provide them with Sunny Hill's 5% Back To Schools ID number: 70106499. Target and Take Charge of Education
Take Charge of Education, Target and Target.com will donate up to 1% of charges made on your Target credit card (REDcard) to Sunny Hills. You just need to enroll your REDcard (Target Credit Card, Target Visa Credit Card or Target Check Card)and designate Sunny Hills Elementary as your recipient school (School ID: 105682)
Terracycle Drink Pouch Recycling Brigade
Help us become a little "Greener" and turn in your empty drink pouches to earn $$$ for Sunny Hills! Every year BILLIONS of drink pouches end up in dumpsters and landfills across America. TerraCycle, Capri Sun and Honest Kids are working together to put an end to this. As an eco-friendly innovator, TerraCycle converts the used drink pouches into unique fashion bags, tote bags, pencil cases, and other items. The TerraCycle Drink Pouch Brigade™ program will help your family and Sunny Hills prevent drink pouches from taking up space in landfills. TerraCycle WILL DONATE $.02 FOR EACH DRINK POUCH WE RECEIVE, which will go to Sunny Hills. Save your drink pouches from home, send them to school and turn them in! And remind your kids to turn in their drink pouches from their school lunches too.
Yo Plateau "Benefit Days" for Sunny Hills!
On the first Saturday of each month, Yo Plateau is sponsoring a Sunny Hills Benefit Day! Just mention “Sunny Hills” and 20% of the purchase will go right back to Sunny Hills. Mark your calendars now and plan to take the family for a Saturday treat each month, that benefits Sunny Hills programs at the same time! “Yo Plateau Benefit Day” reminders will be posted on the Sunny Hills PTA Facebook page each month as well as listed on the Sunny Hills PTA website calendar.
