Important! Welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year!

Here is Your Back-to-School Checklist!

 

1. Renew your PTA membership for the 2025-2026 school year!

Memberships need to be renewed annually and expire on June 30th. 

During the membership sign-up process, you will also have the opportunity to pre-purchase yearbooks and sign-up for volunteer opportunities. While purchasing a membership does not require you to volunteer, we always appreciate any help you can provide!

Also, don't forget to purchase your Mustang Spirit Wear!  You will be sent to our Mustang Spirit Wear shop!! 

 

2. Be sure to update your ISD volunteer application in order to volunteer inside the school. Applications must be renewed each year, and you must have ISD approval before you are able to volunteer in the school for PTA or otherwise. 

 

3. Purchase School Supplies! ✏️

Find your student's supplies list at the Sunny Hills website. Or you can have school supplies delivered right to your doorstep by using School ToolBox.

 

4. Incoming Kinder Families! Be sure to join us for our last Mustang Meetup for Summer Playdates! ☀️

Saturday, August 30th, 10:00AM - Sunny Hills Playground

 

5. Attend Meet the Teacher on Wednesday, August 27th from 9:30am - 10:30am!

We’re looking for a Reflections Chair to help kick off this amazing student art program in partnership with WSPTA. It’s a fun, meaningful way to support creativity at Sunny Hills—and we need someone ASAP to get started!

🖌️ Art Docent Chair – Helps schedule parent art volunteers.
📦 Online School Supplies Chair – Coordinates with our vendor & shares info with families.

Issaquah Schools Foundation Monster Mash 5K is back!

The Issaquah Schools Foundation Monster Mash 5K is back on Oct. 25 - help win our school $500!

The 5th annual Monster Mash 5K is back on Oct. 25 so get ready to run, have fun, and raise money for ISD students! We're inviting students and families to join our “team” and come out and walk, jog, or run while helping to fund critical programs across all ISD schools. The school with the biggest team* will win $500 from ISF!

Costumes and holiday or school spirit are encouraged! Come spend the morning celebrating your community at this inclusive and spirited event that’s fun for all ages and abilities.

Space at the event is limited and discounted early bird registration ends on Sept. 19 so register today! Just choose our school when you register and get ready for a monstrously good time!
