There are MANY WAYS to "actively support" funding of critical PTA programs at Sunny Hills Elementary. Active fundraisers are those we plan and coordinate ourselves, and from which 100% of the funds go to the PTA.

Show your Mustang Pride by sporting the latest Mustang Spirit Wear and supporting PTA funded programs at the same time! Spirit Wear sales provide funding for the Science Fair, our Science Enrichment programs (Science To Go labs), and guest speaker/author visits in the classroom.
Orange Ruler Full Run
Your Sunny Hills PTA will be hosting an Orange Ruler Fall Fun Run on October 4. To get everyone excited about the event, there will be kickoff assemblies for the students on September 20. In between these two dates, we will be having lots of fun with classroom competitions, resulting in fun classroom prizes.
As crucial part of our Orange Ruler Fall Fun Run is fundraising. Sunny Hills PTA has a fundraising goal of $75,000 for this event. Each classroom will be given a portion of this as their goal – goals are based on the number of students in each classroom. This is the third year we are working with Orange Ruler. We hope to expand our fundraising base while significantly reducing volunteer hours needed to make this program a success.
The Fall Scholastic Book Fair is coming! The Book Fair provides easy access to a wide assortment of books, gives kids a choice in what inspires them to read more, and demonstrates to kids that reading is important and FUN! Funds raised at the Book Fair help promote literacy at Sunny Hills and earn books for our library and the Eager Reader program.
The Gift-a-Book program helps update the book collection at the Sunny Hills Library. It is a great way to honor your child. The book purchased with your donation will be shown to your child during his/her library time, and a book plate will be placed inside.
